ShelterBox

ShelterBox are an awesome charity based out of Cornwall, England. They work globally to help people in disaster stricken areas by providing them with the shelter and emergency equipment they need to not only survive but start rebuilding their lives.

I’ve worked as one of ShelterBox’s few registered freelance designers for over three years now, this includes making posters for awareness campaigns, internal reports, public outreach campaigns, fundraiser mailers, and recently an entire magazine for kids.

ShelterBox Explorers is an outreach programme aimed at a younger audience. We used the existing brand style and combined it with some new playful elements and colours, in order to create an engaging magazine that educated and engaged kids as-well as crucially introducing them to the ShelterBox brand.

As-well as informative content, the magazine also features puzzles, activities, and visual elements, all styled and illustrated by myself in order to best reflect the brands existing visual identity.
